I'm interested in the result of Pyeongchang. Also a lot of people hope to hold 2018's winter Olympic in Pyeongchang. So now Pyeongchang hold a ceremony to wish attraction of the Olympic. Many people including many influential figures from each field and citizens attend this ceremony.
ReplyDeleteI also want to Pyeonchang will be chosen by the city of hosting the Olympic in 2018. Because if it were held in Pyeonchang, Korea's economy will increase more.
But most of nations holding the winter Olympic have a vast debt after the Olympic's failure. So we have to know that hosting the winter Olympic is not all moonlight and roses.
The final vote will be taken at 12 a.m.. I am nervous and strongly hope that PyeongChang to be selected as the place 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Although we have suffered failure for three times over ten years, Korean government and Korean Olympic committee kept trying hard. If it is chosen tonight, it will be great opportunity Korea to have wider sports market and make foreigners and companies be interested in Korea. Therefore, I hope PyeongChang to be chosen ahead of Munich and Annecy tonight.
ReplyDeleteThis is third try to hold an winter Olympic. We already frittered away much money and time so we have to resolve that this is our last try. Each city has their own strong points so we can't choose one from them. However, for weakness, Annecy has diffused stadiums and Munich failed to get support of citizen. Pyeonchang's weakness is just a lack of holding big games. If they don't choose Pyeonchang because it has less experience, there would be no more city to hold Olympic until Earth is destroyed. Yuna Kim does her best to hold an Olympic; in addition, president Lee, chairman Lee of Samsung, and most of nation people make efforts. I think that Pyeonchang will be chosen in tonight.
ReplyDeleteToday, winner will be decided in 6 hours later. I hope PyeongChang will be chosen as the place of Winter Olympic, because there are a lot of advantages. Korea will earn money, promote its impression and make PyeongChang as tourist spot if PyeongChang is chosen.
ReplyDeleteI heard that some cities those held winter olympics suffer from debt. They have to build various stadiums, competitor and staff dormitories, and other facilities. Unless Pyeongchang is ready for further development plan, the city's endeavor for winter olympics will vanish with the wind. The more important mission is to maintain the fever of olympics than to initiate te fire of olympics.

We have waited this time for long time in spite of PyeongChang showed possibillity, good sorroundings and citizen's effort.
In addition, it is the time to distribute Western's hegemony to all nations of the world.
I want PyeongChang is the beginning of this. Besides, in article it is researched that higest approval rating about holding Olympic in their nation is Korea.
I hope effort of Korea will not be ignored this time.
Because I live in Kangwondo, I really hope that Pyeongchang can host the 2018 winter Olympic! According to a statistical data, the budget for hosting the Olympic games was highest in Pyeongchang among candidates cities. Some people worry that hosting the Olympic games is the waste of money. However, I think the income from hosting the Olympic games can compensate the expense! I wish that Pyeongchang can host the Olympic game!

Since I'm Korean, I cannot resist that I cheer for Pyeongchang to be the city of Winter Olympics just in my mind. Although it would be unacceptable if one of other two countries holds the Olympics, I think we have to admit the fact because it would have been their best choice to select. Let's just wait for the result
ReplyDeleteOne hour left. I think Pyeongchang will be chosen because Korea have tried to hold the Olympic in the Pyeochang 3 times including this time. If Olympic will hold in Pyeochang, lots of foreign people will get interested in Korea and our culture and that will be great.

ReplyDeleteI saw Kim Yu Na and Pheongchang citizen's tears. An only fact that Pheongchang will hold olympic can move whole national people. I ensure that their effort will never be forgetten.

ReplyDeleteThe first reason is that Pheongchang keep its promise that it gives hope and dream to children in Africa.
The second reason is that the residents in Phoenchang sincerely hope and take more interest than another proposed site.
The third reasoin is that Pheongchang prepare for holding Olympic such as facilities.
Eventually Pyeongchang was selected and it's a good news. However, there are some stupid people who doesn't celebrate this result. Below link is related with them.

They are only focusing on blaming president Lee and this government, so they don't admit an effort of the government that they promote Pyeongchang to be selected as the place of the winter Olympic 2018. I sincerely disgusting about the fact that they are living in the same country with me. I also know that Lee's government did a lot of faults, but we should able to separate the things to be praised and the things to be blamed. They are totally losing a discernment.
I think Pyeongchang's long effort and KimYuNa's representability help to achieve this great event.

I'm very happy that Pyeongchang was choosen as 2018 the winter olympic on the three challenges. I want to go Pyongchang in 2018 and enjoy our festival. Now, South Korea becomes the nations that hold three major events. I'm very proud of my motherland. I wish we will hold the winter olympic successfully.

ReplyDeleteBut we know the risk after olympic. many country held winter olympic have in trouble. We keep in mind about their trouble.
While surfing on the internet, I'm quite surprise that many Winter Olympics made deficit unlike my expectation and there were several demonstrations in Annecy and Munich, which are proposed site of 2018 Winter Olympic, that they should not hold an Olympic because of its shortcomings.
